Therapy for Women Who Look Like They Have It All Together

Online therapy for anxiety, grief, perfectionism, and the quiet ache of a life that doesn’t feel the way you thought it would.

Online Therapy for Women in California and Arizona

I am licensed to provide online therapy for adult women throughout California and Arizona, allowing you to attend sessions privately from your home, office, or another comfortable location within the state where you are receiving therapy.

My practice may be a good fit if you are looking for support with:

Anxiety and chronic overthinking

High-functioning anxiety

Perfectionism

Grief and loss

Life transitions

Relationship and family patterns

People-pleasing and boundaries

Identity and self-trust

Feeling emotionally stuck

Disappointment about where you thought life would be by now

You’re capable. Responsible. Dependable. You’re probably the person other people turn to when something needs to get done.

And most of the time, you do get it done.

But underneath all of that competence, you may feel exhausted.

Your mind rarely slows down. You replay conversations, question your decisions, worry about what might go wrong, and put pressure on yourself to handle things well. Even when life is going relatively well, it can be difficult to relax into it.

Maybe you’ve built a life that looks good from the outside, but privately you’re wondering, Why doesn’t this feel the way I thought it would?

There may be a sadness you have trouble explaining. A quiet ache for the life, relationship, career, family, version of yourself, or future you thought you would have.

And because nothing is necessarily “wrong,” you may feel like you shouldn’t be struggling this much.

You Don't Have to Be Falling Apart to Go to Therapy

Many of the women I work with are functioning well in their daily lives.

They have careers. Relationships. Families. Responsibilities.

They are getting things done.

They also feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, stuck, lonely, disappointed, disconnected, or quietly overwhelmed.

You do not have to wait until everything falls apart before giving yourself permission to get support.

When My Practice May Not Be the Right Level of Care

I want you to receive care that matches what you are going through.

My practice primarily serves adults who are appropriate for routine outpatient psychotherapy with once a week sessions and is not designed to provide acute or intensive behavioral health treatment.

I may not be the best fit if you are currently experiencing active suicidal thoughts that require crisis-level support, need stabilization following a recent hospitalization or higher level of care, or are primarily seeking treatment for an active substance use disorder or addiction.

In those situations, a provider or program specializing in higher-acuity or substance-use treatment can usually offer more comprehensive support.

Therapy That Goes Deeper Than Coping Skills

You may already understand yourself pretty well.

You might have read the books, listened to the podcasts, journaled, talked things through with friends, or learned plenty of coping strategies.

And yet the same patterns keep showing up.

My approach is collaborative, warm, and insight-oriented. We may explore how your past relationships and experiences influence the way you think, feel, and relate to yourself today.

Together, we can look at the connection between your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors while also paying attention to the deeper patterns underneath them.

Therapy isn’t about giving you more homework or another area of your life to perfect.

It’s about helping you understand yourself differently, soften patterns that no longer serve you, and create a life that feels more like your own.

You Can Have a Good Life and Still Want Something to Feel Differents, Real Impact.

Maybe there isn’t one dramatic thing that brought you here.

Maybe you’re simply tired.

Tired of thinking about everything so much.

Tired of putting pressure on yourself.

Tired of being the capable one.

Tired of wondering why you aren’t happier when, on paper, you have so much to be grateful for.

Therapy can be a place to understand what’s underneath that quiet ache—and begin figuring out what you actually need.

If this sounds familiar, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. We can talk about what has been weighing on you and whether working together feels like a good fit.
